Your 30 free days begin the moment you publish your story. After 30 days, only the first 20 lines of your biography stay public unless you make the one $20 payment — nothing is charged automatically, and there is no recurring billing. Free accounts that never make that payment are permanently deleted 1 year after account creation; we email you 30 days and 7 days before deletion.
