Frequently asked questions
›How do I record a memory?
Open Companion → Biographer, tap a prompt, tap the record button, speak for at least 15 seconds, then tap stop. Your recording is transcribed automatically.
›How do I attach a photo to an entry?
Open any biography entry and tap Add photo. You can pick from your library or take a new picture.
›How do I share a memory or life story?
Tap Share on any entry to open your device's native share sheet. You can send it privately to family by link, email, or message.
›How do I restore a purchase?
Open the top-right menu → Account → Restore purchases. You can also restore from the paywall screen.
›How do I manage or cancel my subscription?
Open the top-right menu → Account → Manage subscription. This deep-links to your Apple ID or Google Play subscription settings, where you can change or cancel.
›How do I delete my account?
Open the top-right menu → Account → Delete my account, type DELETE, then Confirm deletion. There is a 7-day grace period during which you can cancel. After that, all storage, database rows, and your login are permanently removed.
›I forgot my password.
On the sign-in screen, tap Forgot password? and follow the emailed reset link.
›My recording didn't upload.
Recordings retry automatically when you're back online. If an entry stays stuck for more than an hour, use Report a problem below and we'll investigate.
